This was a brave act, Reid. Namaste can be a new agey BS thing to say, unless you know that it means “the divine in me greets the divine in you”. Not necessarily religious, just everything good. When I think of the combined talent of all of the incredible people who suffered from bipolar disorder & committed suicide in the past 18 months: Robin Williams, Anthony Bourdain, Kate Spade, MK, I think of the waste & desperation. When I consider the attorneys all over the country who were beloved in their communities who committed suicide in that same period of time-we’re 4 x’s more likely to do so than the general population, well that shreds my heart. I, too, was “fine” with character & fitness in MI. No diagnosis. I would never get the kind of acceptance you have. It’s ok. This will NOT be my last job. Just wanted to say woo-hoo! You nailed it!
